TWGHs E-Co Village Opening Ceremony was held on 18 February 2025 (Tuesday). We are honored to have the the Hon. TSE Chin Wan, BBS, JP, Secretary for Environment and Ecology, as the officiating guest, who jointly presided over the ceremony with Ms. TANG Ming Wai, Mandy, the Chairman. Prior to the ceremony, a media tour was arranged to showcase the latest facilities in the E-Co Village, including the fire-free camping area, community gardens and renewable energy installations.
The TWGHs Eco-Village is Hong Kong's first environmental education base built on a revitalised landfill in Tseung Kwan O. Spanning two hectares, it adopts the concept of "Waste-to-Energy" and integrates carbon neutrality and sustainable development into its architectural planning, material selection, energy-saving facilities, and activity design, creating an eco-friendly community.
