To celebrate 155th Anniversary of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals(TWGHs), our Group will hold the "Tung Wah Group of Hospitals 155th Anniversary Community Fun Day" on November 22-23, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday) at TWGHs TungPo. Admission is free, and all Hong Kong citizens are cordially invited to join this grand event.

This Community Fun Day brings together various sectors under Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, including medical care, education, social services, historical and cultural preservation, public services, and fundraising services. There are more than 60 interactive booths. In addition to showcasing the various service achievements and development of TWGHs, the event also aims to promote the spirit of community harmony and charity. It is suitable for the whole family to enjoy together and share the joyfulness of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals' 155th Anniversary.

Thematic Exhibition


“TWGHs Charity Gala” Iconic Scene
The Experience Zone brings to life the signature scenes of the Lighting Ceremony and the Donation Hotline Centre of the “TWGHs Charity Gala” fundraising TV show. The Zone features photo spots and interactive booths, along with instant photo-taking that allow you to capture special moments while immersing yourself in the spirit of charitable giving. You may complete the photo tour to receive a souvenir, and share your experience on social media for a chance to spin the gacha machine and win a special-edition prize. Come now to take on the role at the Lighting Ceremony or volunteer at the Donation Hotline Centre. We look forward to your visit for these memorable experiences.
Fire Dragon Dance – POKFULAM Village Fire Dragon Association
Pok Fu Lam Village holds a century-old Fire Dragon Dance every Mid-Autumn Festival, where villagers parade to pray for blessings and strengthen community bonds. In celebration of the TWGHs’ 155th anniversary, the Group held the "Man Mo Parade cum Autumn Sacrificial Rites," led by sacred palanquins and accompanied by a 100 feet fire dragon. After the event, the dragon’s head and part of its body were preserved and will be displayed at the TWGHs 155th Anniversary Fun Day, allowing the public to experience wielding the dragon and perpetuating the craftsmanship and dance traditions.
Transitional Housing Services
After moving in over a year, residents of T-Loft@Lokwo and T-Loft@Kai Tak have been joining a wide range of activities. The rich daily activities go beyond mere entertainment; the vibrant pace of life adds color to these transitional homes, fostering stronger neighborhood bonds and making them truly unique. This booth allows you to have a taste of daily life in T-Loft, and you can join in facilitating changes to the community.

Talent Show


E Major Ensemble
The E Major Ensemble was established in 2016 and is one of Hong Kong’s few western music orchestras for seniors. Members are people aged 50 or above who are passionate about music, including retirees. Through training and stage performances, the Ensemble promotes the belief that “Dreams Without Limits, Music Without Boundaries.” At present, the Ensemble consists of 67 members who play string, woodwind, brass, percussion, and keyboard instruments.
Busking Performance
The TWGHs Youth and Family Services is dedicated to nurturing the all-round development of young people, empowering them to explore their potential through arts, creativity, and social participation. The Busking Performance provides an open platform for young performers to express themselves through music and creativity, while fostering community connection and engagement.
Chinese Drumming Performance by Persons of Diverse Abilities
The Eagle Drum Team was founded in 2007 and is Hong Kong's first Chinese drum team formed by visually impaired elders and individuals with mental disabilities, hearing impairments, autism, and severe physical disabilities. Through drumming practice and public performances, the members build synergy. They not only demonstrate artistic talent but also perfectly exemplify the spirit of inclusion with their powerful drumbeats.

Portrait Sketching and Recycled Paper Workshops
Easy Read Studio (Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Chi-Li Pao Foundation Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Centre cum Hostel) promotes inclusion through contemporary art and accessible design (Easy-Reading). At our booth, core member Wong Shun-kit will offer live portrait sketching to highlight his artistic talent and creativity. We also host recycled paper workshops, inviting the public to participate and experience “Art for All,” while raising awareness of the abilities and contributions of people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
Tung Wah + Tile Toss Challenge
To share Tung Wah’s caring corporate culture and staff welfare benefits through interactive game activity. Participants stand a chance to win limited-edition souvenirs specially designed for the Fun Day.
“Tung Wah’s e+Talk” – AI Speaks with You
Exploring the infinite possibilities of Artificial Intelligence! “Tung Wah’s e+Talk” is the first innovative platform of our Group that integrates large language models with retrieval-augmented generation technology. By importing the Tung Wah's specific information to construct a vectorized database and making use of AI inference, it intelligently analyzes user questions and then provides accurate responses. This showcases the potential and value of AI in real-world applications. Experience it now and embark on a new chapter of smart interaction!

Chinese Medicine Mobile Clinic Free Consultation
TWGHs Chinese Medicine Mobile Clinics provide services at different locations in Hong Kong, mainly in public housing estates. The Clinics aim to provide quality, convenient and low-cost Chinese medical services to the community. Free consultation launching at Tung Po will provide free general consultation services, participants will also receive 3 doses of Chinese medicine granules. Acupuncture services are not available. Quota is set at 25 persons each day, on a first come, first served basis, reservation on site is required.
Cycling eSports Challenge
The World Health Organisation recommends that children accumulate 60 minutes of medium-intensity physical activity every day. TWGHs Hok Shan School is turning this goal into an interesting and sustainable habit with innovative technology! We sincerely invite you to experience these exciting activities:
  • WATTBIKE PROTON: Children can ride a professional smart bicycle, take a challenge on the virtual track or compete with friends, you can complete cardiopulmonary training playfully, and experience the fun of racing.
  • TOGU®️ : Stand on the intelligent balance disc, exercise balance and coordination through interactive games, strengthen the core muscle group, and challenge your own limits.
  • RoboCoach: Through AI sports programs, school training can be seamlessly extended to home! Children can carry out effective training under the guidance of AI without limitation of time and space. Parents can participate together to improve physical fitness which makes a great family activity.

Ninja Warrior
The programme is held at the Cheung Che Man Kwok Yuen Ho Integrated Sports Hall, one of the Hong Kong’s top three indoor ninja obstacle training venues. Featuring nearly 20 designed obstacles of varying difficulty levels, the event is conducted under the expert guidance of professional coaches. Participants can challenge their limits, test their skills, and experience the excitement of this unique sport - a truly unmissable opportunity.

Thematic talks on TWGHs’ history
TWGHs Records and Heritage Office invites three experts and scholars to share their research findings and insights on “Yau Ma Tei Public Dispensary and Kwong Wah Hospital”, “Nursing Education of Kwong Wah Hospital” and “Conservation and preservation of TWGHs’ archives and relics”.
Documentary “Snuggle” Screening
The documentary “Snuggle”, produced by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and directed by Wong Siu-pong, delicately presents the differences in values regarding “life and death” across two generations. Through three families, it explores the similarities and constraints between two societal generations, the bonds of trust between couples, and teaches us how to face key life transitions. One of the sessions features a special appearance by the director, witnessing these profound stories.

Admission Arrangements

  • Please present your ticket QR code at the venue entrance during your selected session time for entry.
  • Admission is complimentary via QR code, with one ticket valid for one person only.
  • The event features a diverse programme; please allow ample time for viewing and participation.
  • The venue will close from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm for cleaning.

Admission Information

  • All event arrangements shall be subject to the latest announcements by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. Programme and event schedules are subject to change without prior notice.
  • In the event of a dispute, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals reserves the final decision-making authority.
  • No personal belongings storage service is provided on-site. Attendees must safeguard their own possessions. Tung Wah Group of Hospitals shall not be held liable for any loss or damage.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire premises (including outdoor areas and car parks).
  • Please keep the premises clean.
  • (Applicable only to the designated session from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on 23/11/2025) A large number of pets may be present on site. Attendees are advised to ensure their own safety and that of their pets. Should any pet attack or cause injury, attendees may seek assistance from first-aid personnel or the police. Tung Wah Group of Hospitals shall not be held liable. All pets entering the premises must be kept on a lead at all times, or placed in a pet carrier/bag/trolley with a lead attached.
  • Tung Wah Group of Hospitals will conduct photography and videography on-site. Event footage and photographs may be used for promotional purposes.
  • Tung Wah Group of Hospitals reserves the right to refuse entry to any person failing to comply with these admission requirements.
  • It is strictly prohibited to bring illegal or dangerous items into the venue or engage in any unlawful activities. Violators may have their admission revoked, and serious cases will be referred to venue security personnel or the police.
  • Venue security personnel may stop, search, or intercept any individual posing a threat to event safety or order, prohibiting their entry or removing them from the premises.
  • All attendees must comply with the National Security Law and other relevant laws and regulations.

Arrangements for Adverse Weather

Special Arrangements under Tropical Cyclone and Black Rainstorm Warning Signals:
Visitors are advised to note the following special arrangements implemented by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals under tropical cyclone (commonly known as ‘typhoon’) or black rainstorm warning signals.

  • Should the Hong Kong Observatory maintain a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal at 7:00 am on the day of the event, the ‘morning session’ of the event will be cancelled.
  • Should the Hong Kong Observatory maintain a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal at 11:00 am on the day of the event, the ‘afternoon session’ will likewise be cancelled.
  • Whether outdoor activities will proceed as scheduled will depend on the actual weather conditions.
